Red Mind, 2017, Steel & Wood, 250.250.120 cm, Pardis cinema

This work was created to be presented in the exhibition “Three Generations of Contemporary Iranian Artists” and to be installed in the main ramp in Mellat Cineplex, one of Tehran’s prominent cultural centers and a building with a long structure, fluid form, and transparent skin. For me, the project was an interesting experiment in adjusting and tailoring my ideas to the specific architectural properties of a particular space. In addition, it was the first work in this series to be presented in a public space rather than a gallery. I compared the fluid form of the building to the transparent body of a fish, lacking only a heart I was ready to create for it.
